Nothing much
Maria sent me a howler me: 'if you want to have a blog, you need to update it more often'. So, here I am...
The last month or so has been very hectic, trying to pull the last bits of my thesis together. I keep postponing my submission date, but there is a date I wouldn't want to pass: Christmas. I wait for this Christmas so badly! I have booked my ticket to Greece for the 21st of December, so there you go: by 21st of December the blody thing needs to go.
I got a job! I am Research Associate at my Department (Museum Studies). That's brilliant news in many ways, especially the financial one. My work is to contribute to the research and design of the new MA course (by Distance Learning) in Digital Heritage. It's great fun.
Check out my updated website. I was bored of the old design and did some experimentation, some of which didn't go down well with a couple of friends-reviewers (hi Maria!); not without good reason though. So, I went for a more conservative style, which I hope has still some sparkling elements.
I am not sure I have already mentioned that we (the phd students of the department) are organising a conference in February 2006. Check it here.
Well, that's all for now. Going back to my writing...
